A strategy game of islands, dynasties and dragons
Dukes & Dragons is a strategy game you play in your browser, on your own time. You begin with a small patch of land on an island you share with other rulers. From there you build up production, raise armies, marry into a dynasty and decide whether to be a peaceful merchant lord or a feared conqueror.
Everything keeps going while you are away: your fields produce, your troops train, your fleets sail. When you come back, your Events log tells you exactly what happened.
Raise armies and go to war
Train spearmen, archers, cavalry and siege engines, give them a knight to lead them and march on free land or a rival realm. Morale, terrain and your castle walls decide who wins.
Build a dynasty
Marry, raise heirs and turn them into knights and nobles. Arrange matches, trade heirs on the Heir Market and keep your bloodline strong from one round to the next.
Survive the dragons
Dragons raid the realm without warning, and monsters gather in dungeons and raid sites. Walls, wizards and allies decide how much you lose, and how much loot you bring home.
Sail out and explore
Build a shipyard, chart islands nobody has seen and carry your armies across the sea. The world map grows as players discover it.
Stand together
Found or join an alliance, share a crest, raise alliance buildings and chat in private. Declare wars, sign treaties, and stand behind each other when the dragons come.
Trade your way to power
Food keeps your troops loyal and gold pays for everything. Trade wood, iron and food with other players on the market, or become the merchant lord every warlord depends on.

Make your mark
Earn painted nameplates and matching chat bubbles through achievements, design a coat of arms for your dynasty and your alliance, and show them off everywhere your name appears. Rare designs can be unlocked with Gems, the game's optional premium currency, which you also earn by playing.

How a round works

Start on an island
Choose your people (Humans, Elves, Dwarves or Orcs), claim your first land and get your farms and mines going.

Grow your realm
Build, train and expand while the game keeps running when you are away. The Events log tells you what happened.

Fight, trade and ally
Take land from rivals, sign treaties, trade on the market and fight off the dragons together.
- 4
Win the round
A round lasts 30 days. The top players earn trophies and Gems and a place in the Hall of Fame, then the world resets for a fresh start.
What you keep between rounds: your account, trophies, achievements, merits, nameplates and chat bubbles, crests and Gems.
