News & updates

What has changed in the game, newest first. The game is at v0.55.0.

v0.19.2 Alliances share who they've discovered

24 September 2026

  • Discovering a player now counts for your whole alliance. If one member finds someone, every member of the alliance can see that player's land on the map, just like islands you discover together.
  • Leave the alliance and you stop seeing players only your old allies had found.

v0.19.1 Easier to find new islands

24 September 2026

  • Exploring is now easier to find. If you have a port with ships but haven't discovered any other islands, your Dashboard now points you to the World Map, where dashed ? spots can be explored by sending a single ship.
  • The "Sail here" panel and How to play now say it plainly: you can only sail an army to an island you've discovered, so explore first.

v0.19.0 Live events panel

24 September 2026

  • Your events now scroll in live along the right edge of the screen, like a notification tray. New attacks, arrivals and messages slide in within seconds, without opening the Events page. Thanks to kyrakin for the suggestion!
  • Minimise it whenever you like. Tap the minus button to shrink it to a small Events tab; a badge shows how many are unread and the tab pulses when something new arrives. The game remembers your choice.
  • Clear marks everything read and empties the list; All opens the full Events page.
  • Desktop and larger tablets only for now - on phones the Events page and menu badge work as before.

v0.18.5 No more black gaps while dragging the map

24 September 2026

  • Dragging the island map no longer shows black areas. The map now loads a hidden border of extra tiles around what you can see, so there's always real map to reveal while the next section loads in.

v0.18.4 Map dragging fixes

24 September 2026

  • Fixed: dragging the island map on desktop could pick up a link and drag a URL around instead of panning.
  • Fixed: on phones, some swipes on the map were ignored, and the map showed scrollbars. Swiping now pans reliably.

v0.18.3 Smoother map dragging

24 September 2026

  • Dragging the island map is much smoother: the map now follows your finger or mouse instantly while new tiles load in behind it, and the data sent for each step is roughly 40x smaller.

v0.18.2 Drag to pan across the whole island

24 September 2026

  • The island map can now be dragged across the entire island. Click and drag (or press and drag on a phone) and the view keeps shifting as you go, so you can travel anywhere on the island in one motion instead of clicking North/South/East/West over and over. The old direction links are still there too.
  • Fixed: the first version of map dragging briefly stopped plots from being selectable - that's resolved.

v0.18.1 Drag to pan the island map, and clickable coordinates everywhere

24 September 2026

  • The island map can now be panned by click-and-drag (press-and-drag on phones/tablets) instead of only scrolling - grab anywhere on the map and drag to look around.
  • Plot coordinates are now clickable wherever they appear - battle reports, the training queue, incoming attack warnings, your marching troops, and your equipped Kingdom relic - and take you straight to that plot on the map, already selected.
  • Fixed: the Relics page was showing `(0, 0)` for an equipped Kingdom relic's location instead of its real coordinates.
  • Fixed: the "cleared" notification for a dungeon, raid, or skirmish camp linked to a broken map page - it now opens correctly on the right island.

v0.18.0 Raids

24 September 2026

  • Raids: the biggest fights in the game. Now and then a raid site appears in the open water off the coast of an island with players living on it - never at empty, unsettled land - reachable only by ship. Its HP pool dwarfs a dungeon's: clearing one takes many fleets working together over real days, likely your whole alliance and any allies who join in.
  • Sail a fleet out from any coastal Shipyard port - your own island's coast or another's - to join the fight. Like a dungeon assault, it always returns home afterward, win or lose, and never claims the site itself.
  • Everyone who lands a hit shares the spoils once a raid finally falls: gold, Gems, and a chance at a rare relic for one lucky contributor, plus a new Raids achievement track. Every alliance holding land on the host island (and anyone unaffiliated living there) is notified the moment a raid appears, so nobody misses the call to arms.
  • Raid sites and dungeons now also show up correctly on the map's plot markers (a display bug meant raids were showing the wrong icon).

v0.17.3 Skirmish frequency reverted, and an ocean-tile bug fixed

24 September 2026

  • Reverted the skirmish cooldown from the last update - players told us the old frequency was better, so camps can appear near you again without the enforced wait.
  • Fixed: a skirmish camp could spawn on an ocean tile, where it could never be reached or cleared. Camps now only ever appear on land.
